Legal
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Wanderwise Holidays website and any travel package you book through it. By making a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted them, together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those consumer guarantees or any other right or remedy you have under that law. For example, you are entitled to a remedy if a service is not provided with due care and skill, or is not fit for the purpose we told you it would be.
2. Packages and prices
- Prices are in AUD and are quoted per person unless stated otherwise. The price on a package card is a starting price; the exact price for your chosen date and group size is shown in the booking summary before you pay.
- Displayed prices may include GST (10%) or have it added at checkout, as shown in the booking summary.
- Each package page lists its inclusions, exclusions, hotels, transport and terms. Anything not listed as included is not included.
- Hotels and services named in a package may be replaced with equivalent alternatives if the original is unavailable.
3. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed only after your payment has been successfully completed and verified by our systems. Until then it is shown as pending and no seat is guaranteed.
- When you start a booking we hold the seats for 30 minutes. If payment is not completed the seats are released.
- Payments are made online through Razorpay using the methods it offers. We do not store your card details.
- You must provide accurate traveller names and details. Errors may cause extra charges or refusal of services by suppliers.
4. Traveller responsibilities
- Carry valid photo ID for every traveller (and a passport and any required visa or entry permit for international trips).
- Arrive on time at pick-up points. We cannot refund services missed due to late arrival.
- Follow local laws, safety instructions from guides and suppliers, and respect other travellers and local communities.
- Adventure activities involve inherent risk. Disclose relevant medical conditions and consider comprehensive travel insurance.
5. Changes to your trip
Itineraries may be re-ordered or modified because of weather, road or sea conditions, local restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control, always aiming to keep the overall experience. If we must cancel a departure we will offer an alternative date or a full refund of the amount you paid.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations by you are handled as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
8. AI travel assistant
The AI assistant is provided for convenience. It is designed to answer only from our current package information, but it can make mistakes. The prices, availability and terms shown on the package page and in the booking summary at checkout, and confirmed by our travel team, always prevail over anything said in a chat.
9. Liability
We arrange hotels, transport and other services provided by third-party suppliers. To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law clause above, we are not liable for loss, injury, delay or damage caused by suppliers, third parties, or events beyond our reasonable control (such as natural events, industrial action, government action or epidemics). Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
10. Website use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to bypass its security, submit false information or use automated tools to make bookings or overload the AI assistant.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State or Territory of Australia in which we are registered, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
