Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. This policy applies when you choose to cancel or change a booking. It does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if we fail to provide a service with due care and skill, cancel it, or it is not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement or other remedy regardless of the tiers below.
Cancelling a confirmed booking
To cancel, sign in and use Request cancellation on your booking, or email hello@wanderwise.test or call +61 2 5550 0100 (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM AEST) with your Booking ID. The refund depends on how many days before departure we receive your request:
| Time of cancellation | Refund of amount paid |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more before departure | 90% |
| 15 to 29 days before departure | 60% |
| 7 to 14 days before departure | 30% |
| Less than 7 days before departure | No refund |
How refunds are paid
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay and typically reach you within 7-10 business days after approval, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Where a supplier (hotel, tour or transport operator) has charges we cannot recover, we will tell you the exact deduction before processing your refund.
If we cancel or cannot deliver
If we cancel a departure or are unable to provide the booked package, you can choose an alternative date or package, or receive a full refund of what you paid.
Unpaid or failed payments
- A booking is confirmed only after payment is verified. If your payment fails and money was deducted, it is normally reversed by your bank automatically within 7-10 business days. If it is not, contact us with your Booking ID and we will help trace it.
- Unpaid bookings are released automatically and nothing is charged.
Changing your travel date
Date changes are subject to availability and the price on the new date. Requests made less than 7 days before departure may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
No-shows and unused services
Except where the Australian Consumer Law says otherwise, no refund is available for no-shows, late arrivals, or services you choose not to use during the trip.
Events beyond anyone's control
If a trip cannot go ahead because of events beyond anyone's control (natural disasters, government orders, industrial action and similar), we will work with you to reschedule or refund the recoverable portion of your payment.
